Most assessments are reviewed during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm), and we’ll notify you as soon as your prescription outcome is ready. Submissions outside these hours are reviewed the next business day.
No. You do not need a referral or appointment. Simply complete the online assessment, pay the $45 fee, and a registered practitioner will review your answers.
If suitable, your practitioner-reviewed plan can be valid for up to 6 months. We send you a reminder at the 5-month mark so you can renew before it expires.
Yes. You select your preferred pharmacy during the assessment. If suitable, your outcome is sent directly to that pharmacy so you can collect in person.
An AHPRA-registered practitioner reviews your answers and decides what is clinically appropriate for you, based on your smoking history and health background.
If suitable, your plan can cover up to 6 months. After that, revisit We Can Quit for reassessment. You will be sent a reminder for review at the 5-month mark.
Yes. Our service is available exclusively for individuals aged 18 and over.
You need either a Medicare card or an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) number. If you have neither, you can apply for an IHI through Services Australia.
For safety reasons, our service is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
Full refunds are permitted if a cancel request is sent before the practitioner reviews your assessment. Once your outcome has been issued, no refunds are given.
Yes. We Can Quit operates a fully regulated, legal pathway. Your assessment is reviewed by AHPRA-registered practitioners and TGA Authorised Prescribers.
If there is an issue with your Medicare or IHI number, the practitioner will contact you directly to resolve it before finalising your outcome.
Once you collect from the pharmacy, you can begin straight away. Follow the instructions provided. Your friendly pharmacist should be able to assist with any questions or troubleshooting.
Yes. Whatever your situation, our practitioners can assess you and determine what is clinically appropriate to support your quit journey.
In some cases a practitioner may determine that our service is not suitable for you based on your health information. If this happens, you will receive a full refund of the $45 assessment fee.
Yes. All personal and medical information is encrypted and stored in Australia in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. We never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Most patients collect from their chosen pharmacy. However, if you do not have a local pharmacy or prefer delivery, our default pharmacy partner can arrange interstate delivery to your door.
